The Truro Placeshaping Project moved to Lemon Quay to conclude the 4 day festival of ideas to host our display at Live Lounge
The one day bank holiday weekend event saw incredible acts take to the stage including Stone Roots, Sam Richardson and the Renegades, Milo Gore, The Velvet Hands and DJ Stanley Duke. The acts were hand picked by the Old Bakery team for their wide appeal, and of course sheer talent! Afternoon acoustic slots showcased young local talent, solo and duo acoustic acts supported by the sound and light stage and team from Truro College and their talented students. Food stalls includes: Craftworks Street Kitchen, PUNK THAI & Big Pan Parties, complete with large Eton Mess dessert option.
The free event was hosted in a beautifully decorated marquee, complete with drapes, stage, festoon lighting, coconut matting, gin shop and large bar (St Austell Brewery). The day reached a younger and more diverse crowd and allowed important and optimistic voices for the future of the city to be heard. The event highlighted and celebrated Truro and demonstrated what we can do when we all pull together! The day was supported by Cornwall Council, Truro Placeshaping Project Truro Marquees and guarded by Coast to Coast Security.
